New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) fosters the creation and preservation of high quality affordable housing, while working strategically to revitalize neighborhoods and communities throughout the Empire State. Under the direction of the Vice President and Assistant Vice Presidents of Multifamily Finance, the Underwriter will be responsible for all aspects of financial and project management for an assigned group of multifamily rental projects, including financial underwriting of construction and permanent financing utilizing bonds, tax credits, and HCR subsidy and all duties required to move a project through commitment and loan closing.
