Join us for a fun-filled afternoon, hosting a Halloween party for children living at Project Hospitality's Family Shelter. There will be approximately 75 children attending, ages 2-18. Some of the teenagers will be assisting the WHF volunteers in putting on the activities for the younger kids.
Activities will include costume design and decoration, face painting, mask design and decoration, pumpkin decorating, making Halloween decorations for the Project Hospitality cafeteria, bean bag toss, and a dance contest.
The party will conclude with a parade around the neighborhood.
WHF attendees are requested to wear black or red shirts, or a Halloween costume to enhance our photographs.
We will take the Staten Island Ferry together at 12:30, walk the three blocks to the shelter and return to Manhattan at approximately 5pm.
