Our mission is to promote and support our members’ professional growth through sharing knowledge, exploring issues, and ensuring inclusion and belonging of a diverse membership.
Members come from the private sector, state, local, and federal agencies, from not-for-profit organizations, and community groups.
WHF is run by a small board of active volunteer members elected on an annual basis.
WHF was founded in 1981 by a group of women who saw an opportunity to enhance their careers and that of other women by coming together.
